“The Forgotten ?” Series

The author of the book of Lamentations asks the Lord to “remember” his afflictions and pain (Lam 3:19). He also exclaims on behalf of his people, “Remember, O Lord, what has befallen us!”

The fact of the matter is that we often think and feel that the Lord has forgotten us. But are we indeed forgotten? Has the Lord abandoned us in our affliction or is he with us? It’s in the midst of our perceived distress that we must remember, what the Word of the Lord says, “But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” ‭‭Lamentations‬ ‭3‬:‭21‬-‭23‬ ‭

We shall not lose hope, for the Lord has not forgotten us!
